BugZilla, YouTrack, Mantis Software Quality Testing Tools for Business: Software testing involves operation of a system or application under controlled conditions and evaluating the results (e.g., ‘if the user is in interface A of the application while using hardware B, and does C, then D should happen’). The controlled conditions should include both normal and abnormal conditions. Testing should intentionally attempt to make things go wrong to determine if things happen when they shouldn’t or things don’t happen when they should. It is oriented towards ‘detection’.

Bugzilla

is a Web-based general-purpose bugtracker and testing tool originally developed and used by the Mozilla project. One of Bugzilla’s major attractions to developers is its lightweight implementation and speed. Many projects use it to track feature requests as well. Bugs can be submitted by anybody, and will be assigned to a particular developer.

YouTrack

In YouTrack, you search for issues with a single search box, using simple query syntax that is very similar to natural language. You can search for issues by their attributes and keywords, and/or with full-text search. No combo boxes, drop-down lists or whatever else usually bloats your screen space when you’re trying to filter out existing issues.
